VILLA FARMAN

The villa’s roof space was a true attic, filled with everything you would expect to find in a loft: spiders’ webs, all sorts of junk and several pigeons.
Meticulous workmanship, a few roof windows, a French window and a small balcony have turned this attic into a spacious, three-bedroom apartment. Every corner, every crawl space has been used either to run services or for storage.

Materials used: wood framework, Velux windows; exterior woodwork – unstained wood; floors – larch parquet; walls – painted; door – painted grey/green; furniture – oak/larch; kitchen and bathroom floors – stoneware, mosaic walls.

Project: décaLaage architectes
